Mekar Bhuana Sourcing (formerly Mekar Bhuana Online Store) was founded by Putu Evie and Vaughan in 2010. Dedicated to helping Balinese instruments and dance costume makers sell their products in the global market, the profits from this platform serves to support Mekar Bhuana Centre’s ongoing projects and activities.

DANCE DEPARTEMENT
Putu Evie is a Balinese dancers and instructors from Sanur and has been dancing since she was 3 years old and has been teaching since she was 10 at her aunt's dance school.
Wayan Pon Smara
GAMELAN DEPARTEMENT
Vaughan Hatch is Putu Evie's husband and he has been living in Bali for 25 years to research and study gamelan.
Due to fluctuating prices in Indonesia we need to calculate shipping manually, so contact us via email to get any shipping estimates.
As we are a small family team, we do not work weekends, we are only available to answer inquiries and process orders 9 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday Denpasar time. Normally we ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
