This antique Balinese gamelan angklung orchestra is around 100 years old and is a rare find. It is made up of 10 instruments which all have their original casings and carvings. Although it is ideal for serious collectors of Indonesian antiques, it may also suit serious gamelan musicians who prefer the softer sound of these well-worn bronze-keyed instruments. The tuning of this set is remarkably sweet and one of a kind. Age and quality has been verified by ethnomusicologist and classical gamelan afficiando, Vaughan Hatch.
